Brune-Sachstein Border Conflict is one of skirmishes of Madan no Ou to Vanadis series where Brune's Navarre Knights are defending Brune from the invasive Sachstein Army that trying to invade Brune's western borders. Even with their countless invasion attempts however, nearly all of them were annihilated under the might of its leader Roland and the Knight Squadron's ferocity. [2].

Background[]

(To be added...)

Battle[]

When Brune suffered its civil war after Faron left politics due to Regnas's supposed "death" in Dinant Plains, leaving a fierce feud between Thenardier and Ganelon for the crown going rampant, Sachstein's invasion attempts did not ceased as its army began its invasion towards the Western Boarders between both kingdoms, where they were strongly enforced by their catapults. Despite their well-prepared weaponry and bravery in battle however, this invasion attempt was still foiled by Roland's might-which crushing the catapult with ease- and Navarre Knights's ferocity, leading them to a bloody defeat.[3]

Aftermath[]

Due to the heavy losses, Sachstein Army had to postpone their invasion attempt until Duke Thenardier of Nemetacum sent a letter for a truce between both kingdoms, all to call Roland and Navarre Knights to quell Tigre and his rising army, though it ended a defeat for the Navarre Knights that causing its first lost. However, the death of all three Brune's important figures (Roland's execution, Thenardier's demise and Faron's passing) broke off the truce between both kingdoms as King Augsto of Sachstein resumed Sachstein Invasion towards Brune two years after the end of the civil war.

Trivia[]

  • Even before the beginning of the series, Sachstein have made numerous attempt on invading Brune despite most of them ended up in failure, mostly due to Roland's prowess. This battle is the first to be featured as one of Sachstein Army's invasion attempt in the series.
